'Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?' - 2 Corinthians 13 vs 5 {KJV}

You know, you can be in a business or doing a job where you do unjust transactions to make much more profits; and you can be so long in that business or job that it no longer occurs to you or strikes your heart (like the first time when you did such transaction) that your means of earning is a fraud and unfair. You are so long in that business that it no longer occurs to your heart that you are in the practice of unrighteousness. And the worst part of that deception is that you can be so active in Church and the work of ministry, and even preaching the Gospel, winning souls and discipling souls, only to meet Jesus on the final day and He says to you, Depart from me ye that work iniquity, I never knew you!

'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.' - Matthew 7 vs 22 - 23 {King James Version}

Take note of the words, ye that work iniquity.

This is why we must continually, daily check ourselves; we must check our hearts daily and scan ourselves thoroughly within if any unrighteousness is normalizing itself in us.

'For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.' - 1 Corinthians 11 vs 31 {KJV}

'But if we examine ourselves, we will not be examined by God and judged in this way.' - 1 Corinthians 11 vs 31 {TLB}

'If we would examine ourselves first, we would not come under God's judgement.' - 1 Corinthians 11 vs 31 {GNB}

'For if we searchingly examined ourselves [detecting our shortcomings and recognizing our own condition], we should not be judged and penalty decreed [by the divine judgment].' - 1 Corinthians 11 vs 31 {AMP}

If we examine ourselves continually and judge our own actions, we will always be found in the will of God, walking worthy of Him, pleasing Him in all things. Amen.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
