'For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.' - Mark 11 vs 23
Greetings to you dearly beloved of God in Christ Jesus. I trust God that the words shared in this publication which you now read will help you tremendously in receiving answers to your requests when you pray. Amen.
Firstly, you must understand that the character of the Spirit of God is not different from the position of the Written Word. That means that, you cannot claim that the Spirit of God is giving you a revelation or vision, which contradicts the position of the Word. - Selah. It is very important that I established that truth as a foundation for this teaching. It will help your understanding as we proceed now. Okay.
After you have asked God for something in prayer, especially something very important and necessary to you, one thing satan does to hinder that man from receiving his request from God is to switch the man into the realm of doubts. Because you must understand that the Lord made it crystal clear to us what the condition for receiving our request from God is—it's there in our opening Bible passage:
'For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.' - Mark 11 vs 23 {KJV}
AND SHALL NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART
That means that, if there is doubt in your heart, you will not receive from God what you have asked. It's very clear. Let's take the Word of God how it is, it's for our safety. Now, after the man has made his request known to God in prayer, satan comes and fires thoughts and imaginations into the man's mind, whereby the man begins to see contrary things concerning what he has asked God for, and if he is not spiritually educated, fear begins to develop in his heart, worry begins to set inside him, and he finds himself worried about the very same thing he left in the hands of God few minutes ago. - Think about that.
Let me give you an example of this situation:
A man and his colleagues at work were instructed to submit certain documents which will be the yardstick for their retainment in that office, and they were given a dateline for the submission of the documents. Now this particular man submitted his documents, then after the dateline was reached, he realized that the very vital document he needed to submit, he omitted it in his file, and right now he cannot edit the file with that document again. Ooo! He is worried and so angry at his disorganization, then he goes to God in prayer and asks God to grant him favour before his boss so that he can be retained at his office. Question: Did God hear that prayer? Emphatically yes! Another Question: Will God answer that prayer? Emphatically yes, only when the condition is met, which I highlighted to you above: "and shall not doubt in his heart." Waow! satan knows this, hence he comes to attack this brother; this brother begins to see his boss throwing away his file and trashing it, shouting at his file and calling him irresponsible for not having the said document. Uhmmm. This brother is treading on danger zone; the thoughts are fiery darts from satan! This brother begins to have that imagination playing in his mind, and because it's a fact that, normally he shouldn't be considered, seeing that He did not do as instructed, he begins to somehow give in to the thoughts, the contrary imaginations begin to get into him, and fear begins to breed in him, worry sets in. Suddenly, this same brother that asked God to favour him before his boss and thanked God for answering him, this same brother is worrying over the very same thing he thanked God for. Guess what? If that brother does not delete that fear by rebuking the contrary imaginations in the name of the Lord Jesus, that brother is very likely to be laid off from his office; that means his prayer was not answered. The Lord made it clear: ...if he does not doubt in his heart, he will have whatsoever he says. Meaning, if he doubts in his heart, he will not have what he says. - Think about it.
Dearly beloved, the next time you have contrary imaginations of what you have asked God for, shout at that imagination, rebuke it in the name of the Lord Jesus—because all such contrary thoughts are from satan, he wants to destroy your expectation, he wants to hinder your prayer from receiving answer; he has always been known as an hinderer of prayers: he hindered Daniel's prayer for 21 days! Thanks be to God that Daniel kept praying, which provoked an Angelic deployment from God, which finally brought him his answers by a stronger hand through the person of Michael the Arch Angel. {Daniel 10 vs 13}.
Dearly beloved, the spiritual realm is real, and you have to make up your mind to be knowledgeable about the workings and operations of that realm.
If you will decide this moment never again to entertain contrary thoughts of doubt which are in variance to what you have asked God for, then you will always see your prayers answered, and you will continually share in the joy of a miracle! Glory to God forevermore. Amen.
'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.' - James 1 vs 5 - 7 {King James Version}
Pay attention to these words:
- let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord
This is why you must continually resist every thought that comes to you that is contrary to what you have asked God for. You can say, I rebuke you satan! I reject these thoughts in the name of the Lord Jesus! When you have rebuked the contrary thought, you will then attest that indeed there is a peace that comes with faith, that state of mind where the mind is free of worry and unpolluted by doubts; you will be able to literally see the hope of what you have asked God for.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
